Files: The state of the Onion....
Posted by: Adlon

Well, we're back up. It seems our upstream provider, Hosting-Network/Featureprice/Edison Telephone is closing their doors.

They had shut down our incoming traffic, thus, all of Mortality and ENWorld seemed to be down. In fact, they were not down, its just that you could not get to them. The whole time, we were able to get out on our LAN, just the visitor could not get in.

The owner of the network where Mortality and ENWorld live, has ordered fiber optics, from a different upstream provider. We'll be migrating servers over this week. For the present, we're functional on our original upstream provider, who has graciously turned our inbound back on. We'll not dally around, tho. We're moving on. One chance is all one gets.

More on this development as it happens.
